Course of studies Technical Certificate Course: Duration 1 Year and 2 Years (Under permission from the DGE&T, Delhi & Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan)

 Note:

(1)    The scheme of training of various trades is detailed on the following pages.

(2)    The schedule of training is rigorous round the year, without any short of mid- term or annual vacation.

(3)  The duration of training is normally observed, from August to July subjected to modification by the Directorate of Technical Education.

The Scheme of studies are subjected to modification by the Directorate of Technical Education or any such authority and all such modification will apply automatically to all students already admitted.

Obligatory General Requirements

(I)           A Common uniform dress code has been prescribed for all trainees. It is obligatory to wear the prescribed uniform in the institute. This year it is Light Blue shirts, Navi Blue Trousers, Navy / Grey Apron, & Black Shoes, and Navy Blue full sleeve Sweaters (winter).

(II)      The Institute has fully equipped workshops and all the required equipments, instruments and tools for common use are provided,

            However, it is obligatory for each trainee to provide himself with the necessary books, notebooks stationery etc.

The Institute expects a high degree of discipline and decorum. It is therefore obligatory for every trainee to maintain perfect discipline, orderly conduct and behavior in and out of the institute, and full respect to the teachers/ Instructors.

Evolution & Tests

(I)        Evaluation is done on cumulative basis and consists of external examinations and internal assessment and tests. Every Trainee is required to pass separately in the external as well as internal evaluation.

(II)     External examinations are held at the end of the training session by The Directorate of Technical Education / NCVT and consists of Theory Examination (Written) and Practical Tests.

(III)     Internal assessment is done by the institute cumulatively on the basis of tests, assignments theoretical and workshop record spread over entire period, both for theory and practical work.

       Every trainee must take all such test and must complete all assignments, theoretical as well as practical. Failure to appear at any tests or to submit any assignment in time will result in proportionate reduction in marks.
